I downloaded your module to try it; after activation my firefox was gone. I removed your module and firefox is there again, thanks God!
Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).
The Porteus Community never sleeps!

@wread, thanks for the feedback; can you please post relevant info from you $HOME/.xsession-errors.
OTOH, its working fine here; its notable that I test all modules locally well before posting/sharing these for the public.
