How do I install?

Complete Newbie here....
I downloaded Gimp along with its dependencies using PPM to a folder I created on my flash drive. What do I do next to install and use the proggie?
I know it's a simple question but I don't know how to do it. Preferably without using those terminal commands...

TIA & sorry for the stupidity...

hello compass1312,

you should have an option to activate modules through PPM after downloading.
if you haven't done that then you can always activate manually, pls watch this video:
link

you could also reboot PC and and your modules would be activated upon boot.

Or ... while still in PPM go to the Porteus page (click big porteus icon) and then click 'activate' button. Choose to activate gimp and PPM will find all the dependencies too and activate everything.

Ok Guys, thanks for that. I have now activated GIMP. So where do I find it to execute it. Simple and stupid I know, but simply and stupidly I don't know.
