@fanthom & all
There was recently a 200 code patch that made the desktop more responsive. Now there has been an alternative to it that does not involve using the kernel:

Get the patch directly from over here:

Mail to kernel list
http://lkml.org/lkml/2010/11/16/392
I hope that we can test both options and see which one or combination works best for us?
Patch that does wonders. Would it be possible to test?

Re: Patch that does wonders. Would it be possible to test?
this patch uses 'cgropu' (Control Group) feature of the kernel, which is conflicting with BFS (Brain Fuck Scheduler):
http://ck.kolivas.org/patches/bfs/bfs-faq.txt
i have read about some troubles from people who used '200 lines patch' and i have decided to go with well tested BFS for now.
testing of userspace implementation should be still possible with BFS i guess. Ponce should tell us more as he did some experiments with it.

Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.

Thanks fanthom. I read that you have incorporated the patches into remix v09 64 bit version already
, just would be nice to know how the two implemenations work vs each other.
