Poll: What's your (other) favorite distro(s)?

Personnally, I like Elementary OS for the look and the fact that it is ubuntu based. A big package pasture. However, I would like it to be as reactive as maniable and flexible as porteus.

I had pantheon desktop built on top of cinnamon. (with right click, gala the pantheon window manager does not have it, but muffin, the cinnamon window manager does have it). Unfortunately, elementaryos, like mint, follows the LTS ubuntu - 16.04 which is still on an older gtk3 and gives errors while I try to build it on slackware current. Maybe when elementaryos moves to the next ubuntu LTS (18.04), I could give a try again.

With elementary os the experience is positive for the pasture, however good luck when you have a problem and get into ctrl-d mode.
