Here's a useful utility to calculate and check MD5sum if you use Thunar.
The clipboard is used to transfer the true MD5sum that the website supplies.

The launch is done with the Send To menu
Do a paste if you want to do a comparison.

- I made a sendto entry for Guest user as well
so that the guest can use this feature.
