Hi, new guy here.
I did a search in the forums and on the net as to what font is used for the Porteus logo but I haven't found anything yet. Any ideas?
Thanks- John

I am trying to do a Wallpaper but it looks funny without the correct font. Sorry about the water not looking like water, I am still kinda new to Inkscape.
What I have so far:

If anyone has any ideas as to how to make it look better, let me know what you think. I am open to ideas.

The program doesn't show the name of the font. I would have to go through and check each one and there are over 300. I'll try to track it down or you could upload the image to whatthefont which checks against a database of fonts.

Hey, thanks for the help. I used whatthefont and had no luck. I will see if I can trace them in inkscape for now.

Welcome. Good job on the wallpaper. Porteus v2 will have a way to download a collection of Porteus wallpapers. Right now the collection is not very big.

No, Porteus v2 is a while away. The next release is v1.2 final. I think the wallpapers should remain generic and not refer to a particular version in any case.
Searching the forum for 'wallpapers' will bring up many nice ones. Here is what i have made in the past.
