low battery warning

Is there a way to adjust the battery's low power warning. Lately when I get a warning the battery is low I have seconds to plug the notebook in before it shuts down.

Think I found something: Cinnamon 19.x Power Settings - How to expand options available for critical battery states.
& suspend and shutdown shortcut directly on Desktop (Post by Testuser #85308)

:hmmm:

Hi Ed_P,
Have you tried creating the dconf file mentioned at last of the URL you shared.

Change the critical-battery-action='hibernate' to another executable or we can send warning messages in Desktop using notify-send.

Github Script Links

Using ACPI - https://github.com/tusharvidhani3/batte ... -notify.sh

You can also use upower based script.

You can also try the battery indicator app which i use that has custom message notification for baterry percentage.

This is an old GTK 4 app, I have added the libraries as well, thats why it has big size

:)

I have not.

Although I have yet to change anything tonight when the battery got low I got the warning and had sufficient time to plug in without the system shutting down.
