I'm using porteus 5.0 64bit xfce4, and set the autologin. The autologin sometimes work but sometimes fail ( When it fails, I get the LXDM login screen) .
I did check the /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf for the line with "autologin", it is correct.
Does anyone ever encounter the same issue ?
I have no glue about what to check in order to further analyze the issue.

can't say that i have..
i'd look at /var/log/ log generally.. xorg, lxdm, dmseg, messages
have a look at menu/system/Porteus System Info .. 'dump full report' and upload it to pastebin and link to here, if you want
