Re: ERROR: No Configuration file Found... (booting 64 bit cd
Can you provide a little more info please?
At what stage does the error appear?
Do you get to the boot menu where you are asked to choose how you want to boot?
When you downloaded the ISO did you check that the md5sum matched?
Which version ISO did you download?
What is the last message that appears before you receive this error message?

Re: ERROR: No Configuration file Found... (booting 64 bit cd
Yeah, to me this sounds like an error from your BIOS stating that it couldn't boot from the CD (I get a similar error when I hose the MBR of my flash drive and try to boot from it -- no, I'm not going to share how many times I've done it...).
Things to check: in addition to making sure the md5sum of the ISO matches the md5sum listed on the porteus server, make sure you burned the CD as an "ISO image" and not as a regular data CD, and make sure that when you insert the CD in a running OS, you can see the "boot" and "porteus" folders inside it.

What concerns me is that this resembles a syslinux or isolinux error message. Probably a bad burn.

Re: (SOLVED)ERROR: No Configuration file Found...
We should insert a md5sum checking on linuxrc for first with possibily of skip it.
