No, it not will build another deb package.
It is a special purpose tool for only the target deb package.
'deb2xzm' command is a general converting tool from 'deb' to 'xzm'.
But on applying a package from 'deb',
its dependencies and 'debian' library paths must be considered.
Thanks.

I just ran Firefox is 43.0.4 and Adobe Flash is 11.2.202.559 for the first time and everthing seem to be OK but it there is a video on that page the screen start to flickering but if I leave that page and I go to the fourm everything is OK. Which file might be doing it? I think it might be Adobe Flash doing it.
Here is a like that dose it. http://news.yahoo.com/swirling-ufo-gate ... 05390.html
I'm using "Porteus 3.1 Mate 32bit".
Thanks all

Thank you for your report.
I followed your operation.
Original kernel of Porteus V3.1 cannot boot on my PC.
Therefore, I viewed the site with "004-firefox-ja-43.0.4-i686-1.xzm" and "flashplugins-11.2.202.559-i386-7.xzm"
running on "Porteus MATE v3.1" of "kernel 3.18.25" or running on one of "kernel 4.3.3".
In my case, the results of watching the UFO youtube page was not flickering.
Something may be wrong.
I think same as you that "flash" may be the most suspicious one.
Old version flash has been uploaded.

What strange my laptop was off for 8 hours today and I replay the link and there were no flickering. Now that is strange so it could be my laptop when it gets a little hot that cause it. And I was using upkernel 3.18.25 it wasn't the stock Porteus 3.1 Mate. Sorry I should have told you that.
I will let my laptop run all night and check it again.

It would be nice if the browsers could include the file (ddg.xml) that makes duckduckgo searches contain the 'porteus' string. Also a default config is needed to make duckduckgo the default search engine.
An example of updating the firefox browser is here.

Thank you for your helpful suggestion.
By your information, I think that made the following improvements.
1. when WEB browser rising, to have the "Porteus" site info.
2. to "duckduckgo" the default search engine.
This is to compensate for the defect of this tool.
I have to make the following survey.
1. also applicable to the case of a multi-language other than English?
2. how to apply to non-Firefox browser.
Thanks.
