Awesome, I see now. I did not rerun the patch. After patch (all good) I run normally usm -u all and fails again.

Because it isn't a 'patch'; the script is a replacement for usm -u all.

Totally agree! Is shameful that such a great distro can't have a stable package manager. Great job guys, really enjoy Porteus, I think I will allow myself to allocate more time to migrate from other small distros to this.
