Missing VPN Plugin
Missing VPN Plugin
I have been using Porteus v5.0 rc2 KDE for the last year. I am facing a problem that I can't use any VPN. When I imported a *.ovpn file and when I clicked on connect, it showed a missing VPN Plugin notification. Please help me on how to install this.

Missing VPN Plugin
I failed to start OpenVPN from Network manager.
But there is an easy way to do it:
Create client.conf and copy it (as root) into /etc/openvpn
Copy certifficates and keys (as root) into /etc/openvpn/certs /etc/openvpn/keys
To start OVPN:
su
openvpn /etc/openvpn/client.conf
example for client.conf:
https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn/blob ... lient.conf

Finally, I installed protonvpn-cli using pip3 and its speed was atleast faster than free OpenVPN servers.
