Hi there!
I just installed to my Hard drive Porteus 5.0 from a bootable USB.
It was a big mistake because I did it directly in Porteus booted from USB and not in my existing Linux Mint System...
I used the PORTEUS INSTALLER and followed the short instructions of it and as a result now trying to boot from my HDD,it does not see ANYTHING from that drive, including my Linux Mint, showing OPERATING SYSTEM MISSING
I have checked to load bootloader too,I guess that made it so like it is now.
I just want to restore somehow my HDD meaning enable to use it and to boot it from as before.
I would be happy for some help please
Installed Porteus and can not boot ANYTHING from HDD at all

"it"? What is "it", your boot menu? Your BIOS menu? Your EFI menu? A grub2 menu? How many drives do you have? Is the USB drive still plugged in? What "bootable USB" did you have? Where did you get it? How was it made bootable?
I suppose you didn't backup your HDD before updating it, right? Restoring is easier when that is done.
Does the Porteus USB still boot in the machine?
