portues boot fail:cannot set terminal process group (636): inappropriate ioctl for device

hi,
For some reason my working porteus installation if failing with the error:
cannot set terminal process group (636): inappropriate ioctl for device
When I do a fresh boot it works fine. But I have a bunch of software installed and other files so I can discard my changes folder. How do i resolve this?

It happens that an installation gets corrupted. If you have installed your softwares in the form of modules in /porteus/modules, they will survive. Also, you can save the data files from your changes folder on another media.

Then just start with a new change folder.

Maybe these reflexions on donald and brokenman about changes folder could be very helpful to you. Porteus is really an extraordinary linux distribution.

There is no comparative.
