Hi, I moved changes folder from one partition another after booting on another distro. Now networking is down, the logout menu entry does not work -nothing happens so i had to force power off. Now system toolbar is not visible.
I'm running 5.0rc1
Here is syslog entries I thought may be of interest:

Boot up Porteus in Always Fresh mode and remove all files in your changes directory.
After these steps reboot Porteus and boot up in GUI mode.

Hi Blaze, thanks for the pointer. I booted in fresh mode and compared files. Some files in /var had lost permissions and running file system check cleared it to an extent. Now wired connection working but no wireless. I ran pns-tool but still not working.
I have pkgs installed and so dont want to clear the changes folder. X boots very slowly but does work. So trying to fix existing if possible. Can I overwrite changes with respect to X and wrieless? maybe then that would fix changes?
