Porteus

Hi everyone, I'm new to Porteus and I just downloaded the razor v.3.0 . I burned the ISO on a CD to run it on an old xp laptop. Everything went fine (apparently) until login, every time I insert a user sch as guest or root and the passwords (guest or toor) it seems is loading something for a second and after it return on the login page again and again, asking user and password. Could you kindly help me figuring out what's wrong?
(I used the search feature on this site but I didn't find anything about ).

For starters I suggest you try a newer release. Version 4 is the current version.

No. The ones available are shown here:

I use to use RazorQT when I had 3.0.1. I now use Cinnamon.

Thank you for the help guys, I will definitely install version 4.0, actually.the link on the website was not working that's I only found the version 3.0, I'll download the new one.

Sorry for the stupid question, but as I see that all files for the version 4.0 are X86 64, that 64 it makes me think that thos version is for 64 bit, my laptop is 32, will it work anyway?
