Window size

Some windows are to big to fit within the desktop. For example, trying to configure a wireless connection. I right-click the networks icon on the task bar, then click Configure Network Connections. Connections-System Settings Module opens. I scroll down and find a + sign and click it to add a connection. Choose a Connection Type opens and I click Wi-Fi. New Connection (802-11-wireless) opens. I can enter information in the fields but do not see a Save or Create button. The bottom of the window is below the bottom of the desktop. I tried resizing the window but it doesn't work. How do I make the whole window visible?

Something is funky there, but in situations like that I use the old Linux trick:

Hold down the ALT key, and then click and hold the mouse in the window and drag it so you can actually see the bottom of the window - or any options you need.

I've been in this catch-22 situation before where I made my environment settings just too large, and then can't reach the option at the bottom of the window to change it back! The alt-key / mouse drag was the trick.

Also
ALT key + F8 combo --> use arrow keys to resize window
ALT key + F7 combo --> use arrow keys to move window in case the window is not resizable

(at least in XFCE4)
