missing files package manager SOLVED - IGNORE

Post#1 by roboloki » 01 Jul 2019, 18:12

Hi all-

I am a very new user to porteus.

I received this error msg:

1) lynx-2.8.7-x86_64-3.txz
#? 1
awk: cmd. line:1: (FILENAME=- FNR=1) fatal: attempt to access field -1
grep: /etc/usm/mirrors-.txt: No such file or directory
grep: /var/usm//PACKAGES.TXT: No such file or directory
grep: /var/usm//PACKAGES.TXT: No such file or directory

The following packages are required.
lynx-2.8.7-x86_64-3.txz [] [not installed]

Total size: 0 KB

I am afraid a script I ran got hung up and killed those files possibly. [INFO & SCRIPT] Slackware Mirror Settings for USM

So I can update the mirrors with (thanks to the scripts I ran at the link above this line) .
Anyone know how I can reset the files in the error msg listed above?

thanks.

missing files package manager

SOLVED--

Everything is cool guys. I guess nano and lynx just aren't out there. I tried to install catfish and that downloaded. It seems that nano or lynx return 0 bytes.
It might be hit or miss with what is available and that is fine with me.

I had thought with my initial question that something had gone wrong. It seems everything is working cool now.

thanks- roboloki
