Any way to ditch Firefox?

I have not been able to get Puppy Linux to access the internet, so I am looking for an alternate to run exclusively in LiveCD mode. According to the reviews I have seen, Porteus was made to run in RAM, and most mentioned how customizable (http://build.porteus.org/) it was....but the latter seems to have ended. I detest Firefox. Is their any way now to ditch Firefox, and get Chrome or Waterfox or any other browser permanently installed onto the LiveCD, other than having to download one of those browsers with every session?

Sure, just use the Browser Selection and Update Tool. Then remake your CD or boot the ISO with grub2 and boot parms.
