Hello, I'm a Windows OS user and I'm new in Linux. I have a laptop but unfortunately, the hard drive was corrupted. I searched for the solution to no avail. Now to use my laptop, I searched for possible ways and booting Linux from removable devices (USB, CD) is a good alternative. While searching, I encountered Porteus and discovered that it is possible to run it from RAM.
I plan on installing Porteus in my RAM using CD and I already burned the ISO file in my CD, but the the question here is: Is it possible to erase/uninstall Porteus in RAM. If possible, how?

RAM is cleared everything the laptop is rebooted or simply turned off.

You don't install Porteus to RAM you simply run it from the CD and it executes in RAM.

If your laptop supports USB drives I would recommend installing Porteus to a flash drive. Follow the instructions on the CD to do that. What did you use to install it to your CD?
