Porteus 4.0: where to find 32bit-ISOs?

Post#1 by agerhard » 12 Apr 2019, 14:35

Hello together,

wanted to check the live version of Porteus 4.0 LXQt on my old 32bit-system. Where can I find the iso's for this? The listet ftp's have 4.0 only 64bit available.

Thank you for directions.

cu,

Check out the i486 and i586 folders on this mirror: http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/pub/linux/porteus/

Other mirrors are listed here: http://porteus.org/porteus-mirrors.txt

Porteus 4.0: where to find 32bit-ISOs?

Post#3 by glestwid » 02 May 2019, 15:36

Hi,

I have the following couple of questions regarding the source FTP and XZM files:

1. What is the difference betweeb i486 and i586 folders there?
2. Can I use XZM files from Porteus v3.x 32bit for stuffing my distro of Porteus v4.X 32bit as well?

Thanks!
