[SOLVED]No MOTD or any other cool Linux easter-egg apps?

Hey, I am very new to SLackwsare and Porteus, but I am pretty familiar with Debian-based distros i.e. Ubuntu,Mint,Kali,TAILS,etc.
Just another Linux explorer and I stumbled upon Porteus.
I must say, I am very impressed with it and must give all the developers of Porteus a standing ovation.

But don't tell me it doesn't have the usual motd ,cowsay, fortune, oneko, lolcat, ddate and other cool apps.
These apps are entirely for fun and make the distro more.... fun to use?
Can I get these apps and if so, how?
Thanks.

Code: Select all

guest@porteus:~$ echo "WTF" | cowsay
 _____
< WTF >
 -----
        \   ^__^
         \  (oo)\_______
            (__)\       )\/\
                ||----w |
                ||     ||
there is a slackware cowsay package and fortune is part of the bsd-games package, at least..
checkout USM in the system menu..
the others may have to be compiled or it's also possible to convert .deb or rpm packages..
