1) can you share this log?

Code: Select all

[ code ]here-is-your-log[ /code ]
Remove spaces and paste log of your terminal in this section.

2) can you upload your /tmp/psinfo_report.txt to https://pastebin.com/ ?

Code: Select all

su

psinfo
Open /tmp/psinfo_report.txt and copy all content to https://pastebin.com/ > 'Create new paste' and copy link (URL) pastebin.com/example-link at your browser in this topic.

3) Have you tested your Wi-Fi device if you execute this command in the terminal

Code: Select all

eject
for ejecting CD-ROM?

P.S. Virtualbox it's bad way for this things.

Hi,Blaze...once again big tyvm for all that.I follwed your instructions very carefully, no need to ask for it...now something new: i have installed elementary OS with Rufus Installer(!) Run from usb as a trial: works 100% with WIFI and the login. So the Porteus iso (i tried them all!!!) are not well configured, or the Windows installer is cheap solution.I make a try with Porteus iso and Rufus soms other day, Maybe this will work...by making a new Output in Virtual box crashed the System and i have to boot again but lost the downloaded xzm.i will try to install the https:github clone Manual by downloading for the first hd one day and share this log if it works...i found some other good help here:https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/wlan ... st-5638107 :hi:

Probably you are need to use a new kernel.

- If your PC is support x86_64 architecture, you can try WIFI in Porteus-XFCE-v4.0-x86_64-18.10.01.iso >>> from this post by neko
- If your PC doesn't support x86_64 architecture, you can sent PM with request for build a new kernel for i586 architecture to our king of kernel neko :hi:

:Yahoo!: You're connected!

Your Internet connection appears to be working. You can safely close this window and continue using your device.

Why is this window appearing?

elementary OS automatically checks your Internet connection when you connect to a new WiFi network. If it detects there is not an Internet connection (i.e. if you are connecting to a captive portal at a coffee shop or other public location), this window will appear and display the login page.

Some networks can appear to be a captive portal at first, triggering this window, then actually end up connecting. In those cases, you'll see this message and can safely close the window.
