Hello,
how can I be automatically connected to my wifi as it is for wired connection

bonjour bour59

right-click network icon > edit connections > edit your wifi connection
or create a new one > (add > select wi-fi > create)
and on the general tab check "Automatically connect ...."
(of course you have to provide your credentials in the other tabs)

you may have to uncheck "Automatically connect ...." for the wired connection.

automatic was checked on wifi,
but also on wired
after uncheck it on wired, i's ok under X
now, how can I have wifi started when booting in mode 3

network manager is the wifi package on xfce. In text mode the package will provide nmcli:

if your settings/password are saved in changes or a module, it should connect automaticly in mode 3 also..
if not, there is nmtui , a ncurses interface, easier to use than nmcli..

nmtui-connect mybox is ok for me
