O.K.,

usm -g nxclient does not work.

How do I install the module(=package?) form another source?

i find slakfinder.org to be helpful:
http://slakfinder.org/index.php?act=sea ... e=#results
1 download package (one from 'current' is probably best)
2 rightclick on it in filemanager> "Convert Slackware package to Module" (or something like, txz to module) or (root)terminal: txz2xzm <package.txz>
3 rightclick on it in filemanager>"Activate" or (root)terminal: activate <module.xzm>
4 and save the module to the /porteus/modules dir if you want it active from boottime.(otherwise optional or somewhere else on your usb is fine)

Those packages are very outdated,

I succeeded by simply packaging the /usr/NX-directory of a running CENTOS-7 system into a module.
