I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

I just check and you are right it is not in v3.2.2 but I thought it was. It must have been removed from v3.2.2.

Thanks Jack. That code is certainly different than the update-flash script used in Porteus 4.0.Jack wrote: ↑11 Jan 2018, 18:51This one should work. http://dl.porteus.org/i586/testing/live ... flash-live I have use it before on 64bit.
I ended up booting the 4.0 system, creating the updated flash module there then copied the module to the 3.2.2 system so both systems are current now.
I'll save the script you linked to in the 3.2.2 system.

Actually this shouldn't require a fix. /opt/porteus-scripts should be a part of your $PATH variable.ok, now i see what i missed, the scripts are there in /opt/porteus-scripts but i forgot to symlink them from /usr/bin ..
will upload a the fix
Code: Select all
guest@porteus:~$ echo $PATH
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games:/opt/porteus-scripts
guest@porteus:~$ sudo update-flash
Then the scripts in /opt/porteus-scripts should be found.
How do i become super user?
