Text editor with spell checker

Is there a text editor with spell checker. I try mousepad and leafpad with no luck. Is there any of that type?
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

Xed has a spell checker plugin.

Gedit too.

And also Sublime Text can spell check

pluma should do it, check Edit>Preferences>Plugins tab
