Hi peeps
I am new to this and excited to learn more. I am running Porteus on an old laptop (nice!) but Gmail tells me that I am running an old version of Firefox. So I need to update Firefox. I go to the USM and first I upgrade USM. I re-boot and now USM has gone!!
Please help: I just need a simple installation that runs an up-to-date version of Firefox Shockwave Flash.
Why did USM disappear? How do I update Firefox?
Any advice greatly appreciated :-)
Robby

Re: USM disappears after update
You can update through the terminal:
Or you can download the last module from Porteus website: http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/current/mo ... 6_64-1.xzm . Just need to put it inside /porteus/modules, get rid of the old version and reboot.
Code: Select all
update-firefox
