hello everybody
i have problem installing porteus on usb-flash-stick formatted as ext4.
situation a (working well):
* i format usb stick to ntfs (or fat32)
* i copy contents of installation iso to usb
* i use Porteus-installer-for-Windows.exe
.. and everything is fine. porteus boot normally.
situation b (does not work):
* i format usb stick to ext4
* i copy contents of installation iso to usb
* i use Porteus-installer-for-Linux.com
.. and porteus wont boot. i get message:
No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found
i use hp laptop (probook), and i have tried with modifying bios config but without success. thus i tried with another laptop / older sony vaio / and i get into the very same trouble.
i have no idea what should be my next step.
i am trying to make usb that will have two partitions one ext4 (with porteus), and one ntfs (or fat32).
thanks for your time and interest
vlad
