Porteus Porteus-LXQt-v3.1-x86_64.iso installed on 64bit platform
Downloaded audacity-2.1.2-x86_64-1rl.txz for slackware 14.2 from pkgs.org
Run the command upgradepkg --install-new audacity-2.1.2-x86_64-1rl.txz (root user)
If i run the command audacity on terminal as root user i get the error message:
audacity: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk2u_xrc-3.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Maybe audacity could be built from some slackware influenced distribution of from source source with usm, try:

usm - u usm
usm -u all
usm - g audacity 
or
usm sbo -b audacity
