Audio Recording

Post#1 by NickPhoenix » 25 Jun 2016, 05:56

Anyone suggest me a audio recording software that supports Porteus. I had convert audacity.txz into module by using USM but it's not working at all!

module installed at: mnt/loop

applications->sound and video->Audacity [ok]

Audacity starting up.. then nothing happens. :x

I think I misread your post. I think you just want audio recording software like audacity and not to record streaming audio.
module installed at: mnt/loop
Plesae read up on the basics of Porteus modules. You don't install Porteus modules here.

It should be enough to open a root terminal and type:

Code: Select all

usm -u all
usm -g audacity
In the options that follow choose to merge all the modules you download into one module. Once finished just double click the merged module and look for audacity in the menu. If it doesn't run then please open another terminal as guest and give us the output from: audacity
