Issue when Launching Pavucontrol
Hi, When I try to launch Pavucontrol, nothing pops up. When I run it from the terminal, I get a message back that says: "pavucontrol: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
I looked in USM, and SlackBuilds, I didn't find libgt3, or gtk3. Is there a package or a module that I can download somewhere?
This all started because on this computer, the audio won't work unless I select a certain option in the configuration tab of Pavucontrol, I tried other audio mixers and i had no luck. In case you are wondering, I'm using an Asus Chromebox CN series.

I'm using 3.1, I try to stick with the stable versions.Evan wrote:viewtopic.php?f=35&t=5824
Don't know if it makes any difference but are you using Porteus 3.1 or the new v3.2rc2 ?

I did that, and still no resultsdonald wrote:Hmm.. that's what i see:purplemarble wrote:I looked in USM, and SlackBuilds, I didn't find libgt3, or gtk3.

EDIT: Never mind, I found it. Thanks
EDIT (again): Turns out I have another issue: In configuration, I select Analog stereo Input, and that always works, but for some reason it says it's unplugged.
I don't know what to do to get my audio working now. Any suggestions?
EDIT (yet again): Well, for some reason the audio works.

Re: Issue when Launching Pavucontrol
So, it turns out the audio only works with the Firefox HTML5 video player

@purplemarble
If still having problems, try the rc2 version and see if any better. No problem with gtk3 , as it's already included.

Re: Issue when Launching Pavucontrol
Just an update here.
So Porteus 3.2rcv2 didn't even download packages from the package manager, so I installed Lubuntu on my computer instead. I figured out the problem there and found a way to get the audio to work. Now I have Porteus 3.1 installed and I'm currently updating my system. So I should have everything working soon.
