Where's my converted .xzm module ?

Hi, My latest version of Firefox doesn't seem to contain the latest version of flash player, so I looked for that plugin in the USM. Still no good because the newest one there still won't allow me to view flash clips. So I downloaded the tar.gz file from adobe & had porteus convert it to .xzm. The problem is : Where did porteus put that new .xzm file ? Thanx :O:

The flashplayer-plugin-11.2.202.569-x86_64-1alien.xzm module works for me. After you downloaded the flash module from USM did you activate it?

It should be in /tmp/usm if you downloaded and converted from usm. However, if in the meanwhile you have rebooted your computer, these files have been erased.

I've got the latest flash player plugin & it doesn't work. If there are no other fixes, I'll just forget about it & watch videos in Windows.

Ok, this is just weird.
You downloaded the 569 flash module from USM yes? You activated it yes? You did the ln command linked to above yes? You're using the firefox browser yes?

What error msg do you get when it doesn't work? Can you provide a flash link that doesn't work for you?

Two actually.

1. Be sure you use the ln command referenced in this posting: http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php? ... 027#p42972

2. 569 is the latest Adobe flashplayer for Firefox but not the latest flashplayer from Adobe and some sites, foe.tv for example, complain it is not new enough. Chrome supports using a newer version and the Chrome module I downloaded from here http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php? ... 002#p32559 includes a current flash player.

I have never used it either. But you don't have to do a reinstall or create a new USB. Download the module, add it to your modules folder, activate it, wait a few seconds then find it in the Porteus menu > Internet > Google Chrome. If you don't like it or it doesn't solve your problem deactivate the module and delete it.

I know I can do it that way but I like to keep everything clean as far as the changes directory on the USB drive. But that me. I use Porteus 3.1 XFCE 64bit on a ext4 formated USB. My USB with Porteus 3.1 Mate 64bit works great with no problem.
