Hello,
My machine: Intel Q6600, 8GB Ram. Distro used: Porteus 3.0 64bit.
bash-4.2# free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 8182944 5639792 2543152 0 448284 4486676
-/+ buffers/cache: 704832 7478112
Swap: 0 0 0
bash-4.2# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
aufs 4.7G 372M 4.4G 8% /
devtmpfs 4.0G 0 4.0G 0% /dev
/mnt/live/run 4.0G 697M 3.3G 18% /run
/dev/sda1 40G 10G 31G 25% /mnt/sda1
So my "/" main aufs RAM filesystem leaves me with only 4.7GB ram?
Is there any boot option to tell Porteus to use a larger amount of memory for the "/" aufs file system?
