Porteus

Hi all,

I am unable to change hostname from porteus to something else permanently.

I've changed /etc/HOSTNAME content to something.net
commented 127.0.0.1 porteus.example.net porteus and
added 127.0.1.1 something.net something in /etc/hosts
typed sudo hostname something.net in a terminal
restarted and... nothing, hostname is still porteus.

nota : i've also tried 127.0.0.1 something.net something in /etc/hosts and
sysctl ...

Any ideas?

Should it not be better to change hostname=porteus in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf so.

I'm gonna try both... thanks a lot.
