I am looking for a good Browser that would run well on Porteus. I did select Google Chrome in the unique build of Porteus that I installed but it crashes the machine. I also tried installing it from the Google website but that also fails.
I have loaded Firefox, which is what I am using now, but there are problems. For example, even though I loaded what was available via USM, I still get a warning that the version that I am using is obsolete. Also, believe that the flash player is not functioning although I have manually installed it. Finally, there are some web pages that do cause the system to crash (must reboot).
Here is my system information:

Hi miner_tom
IMHO it is Pale Moon if your computer is up to it. Please refer to this
topic 2nd Page.

Can you report the total of your RAM as well please. Leaping ahead, if you have less than 3G of RAM go to a 32 bit ISO. Exactly 3G the choice is yours but 32 bit packages tend to be smaller than 64 bit.
On LXQt 64 bit I can get to RAM total memory by (if you don't know how much you have)
main button -> System Tools -> Porteus System Info Click on Memory
post MemTtotal
or by code

There are also:
midori, firefox, opera, slimjet.
Except for the last one, you can build them with usm package manager:
