Will be happy to answer any questions you have after reading it. :)
thnx, know next to nothing about shell programming, so if its ok i just copy paste? also, where im creating this deb2targz.sh file, and how to compile it?
also have general problem que, that finally got me pissed off: it seems every time im trying to download and install package, there are tons of other package dependencies follows, and i have to install each and every one of them maually?, this is HUGE MESS, so is there any posibility just download all required updates all at once ?
example: to install openVPN, got e rror libpam package missing, , just to install that gives whole chain of another 20 package-dependencies to install ..... W** DUDE, this is crazy, can it be just all-in-one download? do i have to manually download and install all that mess? PLEASE TELL ME , NO~!
appreciate yr help
thnx

I will try if I can help you but all I can do is try and find the dependencies.
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

Jack, as you seem to have plenty of time, you can test out the procedure I wrote Resolving Non-Slackware Dependencies. May cut down on the amount of dependency searching you normally have to do.

deoendencies are tough to deal withh, they can turn in endless chain of "lm almost there?" packages

Trouble is could not determine how far you have progressed, so could not know you did not know this. Which is why it pays to describe clearly what you are doing, or trying to do, how far you have got, and what difficulties you face. A generalised 'I have a lot of dependencies to resolve' is not concrete enough to know where you are at. :(
