@ neko
Sorry for the late reply.
I didn't had a use case / usb-drive to test the new version.
(also I can not test anything related UEFI)

I believe in you, that it will work as expected... :D

@donald
I'm sorry couldn't live up to your expectations.
A bug was found in the program.
The "live-usb" was updated.

bug
If the 1st. partition size is max, this program will abort.

Thanks.

neko there is no need for more than 1 partition according to this brokenman posting:
viewtopic.php?f=81&t=4632&p=33638#p33604

I've tried that approach and it works great.

@Ed_P

Thank you for your useful advice.
I read that articles.
I understand that the persistence data can be kept in a 1 partition.
Because a loop file can be set in a FAT partition.

But the above tool supports 2 partitions.
the reasons are

1. The 2nd partition may be used for general purpose.

2. If the 2nd partition file system is a linux file system (ext4 etc.,) ,
it can be used for a persistence directory.

Of course, it can be used for a persistence loop file data setting area.
Example: Please refer to
http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php? ... =15#p35747

Thanks.

It should be made clear to multi-system users that files stored on the 2nd partition will not be accessible on Windows machines, regardless of it's format. The above tool is only for Linux users.

I was referring to grub4dos, it boots everything but to the best of my knowledge it only installs from Windows. :(
HAH!! Easy2Boot's Linux install does it.

http://www.easy2boot.com/make-an-easy2b ... ing-linux/ :good:
fmt.sh will format an existing partition as FAT32, copy the E2B files onto it and then run bootlace to install grub4dos to the MBR

Booting iso from grub works great (first post of this thread).

Actually, not so much on UEFI systems.
