[SOLVED] USB Bluetooth adapter problem

Post#1 by matthewjay » 09 Jul 2015, 17:16

Hello all

First of all, I'm very new to Porteus so please bear with me if there's a really simple solution to this...

I have a Plugable 2.0 USB adapter which seemed to work ok when I first plugged it in (it was recognised at least and I could pair with a device - hadn't actually tried using it properly). I've just restarted and it does seem to recognise an adapter in the bluetooth settings screen but without any functionality and without being able to pair with anything.

I'm using Porteus 3.1 KDE installed to a freshly formatted harddrive from CD. Checked for updates

I've tried searching the forums but can't find anything that works. Have also tried reinstalling from scratch but with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

Can you try using porteus and you bluetooth device on a second computer?

Is your bluetooth device functioning on another os?
