JAVA on Porteus How Installing it ?????

I want to install Java for learn some java(programming ) im newbie .. do i have to download the deafualt packages that came with Porteus in my case is gcc-java-4.8.2-i486-1.txz(search it usm -s java and thats the only one ) ? i search a lot in the internet but there are alot of diferents ways to do it ... do i need to install jdk ?? for example.. i have to do the painfully process of make a module (wich i dont how to do it ..) ... i know i have to change the path but i dont no how to do it on Porteus...

I have jre-8u31-i586-1.xzm but keep being kicked off from uploading my modules to Porteus-apps
http://www.porteus-apps.org/ because Forbidden privileges. If you can give me an address or site to upload it to you along with other stuff I've converted like OpenOffice and WPS KingsoftOffice and SoftOffice which I really want to get into other Porteus users hands.

You need the Java JDK. Download with USM.

I've had problems with java opensource.
If you need firefox Java plugin not recommend the opensource version because of bugs with the plugin (icedtea).
Better to install the java version oracle.
if you need JDK (sdk java) download here tar.gz

Before slagging off Porteus you have to know you are doing it wrong anyway. This comes from lack of knowledge of the system, and we all have to make mistakes as we learn how the system functions.

First try with online disks. Hope this works. You can (should) find Java modules and foe WPS-Kingsoft and SoftText and others.

Sorry but your incompetencies to reply a clearly to someone who is newbie is painfuly annoying ... I just want to programming in java ... for that i havve to download a JDK i download and throw me and error ... right now i still waiting an answer....

papa I suspect the file you downloaded didn't download completely. Try redownloading it. You can also try the option Slaxmax suggested.
And if all else fails you can try a different version of Linux.

You will need a Java IDE as well.
Below is example from 64bit system. Your output should be different.

If nothing appear, then maybe try to download and convert txz module from slackonly:-
