hi all trying out a version of linux for the first time installed it on a old laptop to give it some new life, but im having a problem with the hat switch that was installed on most laptops of the time i need to know how to disable it because the one on this laptop is broken and constantly fires the cursor to the top left. in windows i managed to get a program to disable this, is this something i can do in porteus?

welcome to porteus,
i think it is possible to disable the hat switch, not something i've done myself...
which desktop are you using?
please run psinfo command -> upload generated system report to pastebin.com and link here
