boot slackware with syslinux

hello, can i boot on a slackware partition from porteus ?
my config :
Porteus 3.1 installed on sda1 (hdd) with Linux-installer.
slackware installed on sda6. any version
please how to modify porteus.cfg.

I would think adding something like this would work.

KERNEL /boot/syslinux/chain.c32
APPEND hd0 6
