Greetings!

Unlike 3.0 and prior, the "I-Beam" cursor used in Mousepad and OpenOffice and Abiword or browsers doesn't appear, making it unweildy to know the actual position of and place the true unseen cursor on a line.

After once swapping the 3.1 kernel module with a 3.0 one then back again the system somehow seems to've reset itself regarding the cursor because it's now normally displaying "I-Beam" cursors in word processors and browser text. Will investigate further.
