Where can I find Blender 3D for Porteus 3.1?

Hello! I've installed Porteus MATE Desktop edition and wanted to install Blender 3D, but there is no Blender in repository, that's quite bad, because I can't do my job. Where can I download this?

Another quick question: is there a way to run optimus (bumblebee) on Porteus 3.1? I have notebook with Nvidia GeForce 540M + Intel HD Graphics.

Thanks for your attention, have a nice day! <3

Hi banksee,

You can build the module using the guide here:-

Also please search the forum for optimus. There is a thread where two people had success.

it might be worth noting here that the download from blender.org need only be extracted
and run directly from that folder, where ever you want to put it.
there may be some advantage in a compiled package, but i
would think that hardware specific compile options might be useful.
