I tried the Porteus XFCE desktop now and it's a lot better than MATE (some programs did not start with MATE, applications not opening fast enough etc) but the flash is horrible. I am trying to watch a youtube video and it's ok in 480p mode but when I put it on full screen the video is tearing like hell and then youtube player itself is very slow to respond. What can I do to fix this?
It says that the flash is outdated. My graphics card mobile intel 4 series express chipset family. It's an integrated video card. On win 7 youtube runs fine.

You might try another browser.
