A useful poll idea

It might prove useful for developers to know how users are booting Porteus and what cheatcodes users are using.

How many are booting ISOs? What boot manager are they using, Legacy grub, grub2, grub4DOS, rEFind, etc. How many are using changes=, changes=EXIT, extramods, storage, etc. Not necessary to poll all the cheatcodes but the major ones that can impact development.

The use of Magic Folders would be good to poll for also, though not a cheatcode.

I haven't needed cheatcodes with Porteus 3.x.

Think what Ed means is what is to be found from output of cat /proc/cmdline

The "cat /proc/cmdline" output does show what is being used as does looking at:

"kernel /boot/syslinux/vmlinuz from=/ISOs/%ISOx% changes=/porteus/changes/porteussave.dat extramod=/mnt/sda5/porteus/modules "

"APPEND initrd=initrd.xz changes=/porteus"

Another useful poll question would be which version are you using; i486 or x86_64.

from my experience i can tell that very few users would take a part in this poll:
