Vim installling problem

Post#1 by helmut » 28 Apr 2014, 18:40

Hello. I cannot install vim. I have installed gvim previously. My distribution is Porteus 3.0 32 bit.

This is what I get:

Code: Select all

[root@porteus:/etc# usm -g vim

 The following items were found.
 Choose an number to confirm.
 ctrl+c to quit

1) vim-7.4.050-i486-1.txz 3) vimprobable2-1.4.0-i486-1tjb.txz
2) vim-gvim-7.4.050-i486-1.txz
#? 1

Processing: vim-7.4.050-i486-1.txz

Libraries found in system: 12
Libraries to resolve: 0

/usr/share/usm/funcpackageGet: line 65: declare: 5832 936: syntax error in expression (error token is "936")
And now vi has disappeared from my path or was uninstalled and I cannot use it in terminal:(

I'm getting error:

Code: Select all

/usr/share/usm/funcpackageGet: line 69: declare: 5952 1060: syntax error in expression (error token is "1060")
You can download it here and convert to module vim-7.4.050-i486-1.txz

Thanks for tip. I solved it already using classic slackware package install tools.
