Have you tried saving files to the 1st partition of your UEFI flash drive and viewing them in a non-UEFI system?

I googled and learned a bit about ext2 and ext4. Journaling read/write makes SD cards' life shorten, right?
Having bought 8GB SDHC card this afternoon, I am going to make 2 partitions USB Drive by tomorrow.
This time I will format the 2nd partition with ext2 linux file system.
