I made a 1 Gig swap file (my usb stick is only 8 Gig) and the speed situation improved, with my existing Chrome version. I already downloaded yours and will install it shortly. Will keep you posted on the results.

Tested the module by wread and didn't see any difference. To minimize the problem of the broken videos, in the google settings I unchecked the 'Use hardware acceleration'. That improved the situation.

Google chrome as it is now, just turned out to become my prefferred browser. Fastest of them all, easy to use and in all respect well designed. Goodbye firefox.
