Hi,
Can anyone help me putting airmon-ng in monitor mode?
I can't make it to work in Porteus 2.1

At first download iW from slackware(with ppm)..convert and activate then: su to root
2. ifconfig wlan0 down
3. airmon-ng start wlan0
4. airodump-ng mon0

This works with aircrack 1.1 from ppm-repo
Your hardware / driver must support monitoring
A good pair Is ath9k-driver and a Atheros 9271 chipset..... 8)
